Zur Eröffnung dieser 26. Ausgabe der Französischen Filmwoche in Frankfurt laden wir Sie herzlich am Sonntag 15. November 2026 zu einem außergewöhnlichen Gala-Abend erstmalig im Deutschen Filminstitut mit neuem Ablauf ein. Wir freuen uns sehr, Camille Japy als Ehrengast unseres Galaabends zur Eröffnung der 26. Französischen Filmwoche in Frankfurt begrüßen zu dürfen. Als renommierte Schauspielerin, die sowohl im Kino als auch am Theater in Frankreich und international tätig ist, arbeitet sie zudem als Drehbuchautorin und Regisseurin. Ihre erste große Kinorolle spielte sie in Nos vies heureuses von Jacques Maillot, der 1999 in der offiziellen Auswahl des Filmfestivals von Cannes gezeigt wurde. 2023 präsentierte sie mit Sous le tapis ihren ersten selbst geschriebenen und inszenierten Spielfilm, in dem Ariane Ascaride und Bérénice Bejo die Hauptrollen spielen. Der Film wurde mit mehreren Preisen ausgezeichnet und für internationale Filmfestivals ausgewählt.
