She uses her charms to bring members of West German industrial elite to her bed. There she finds business secrets and later sells them to French competition. This short documentary looks at the animated art of Lotte Reiniger. We are taken through a demonstration by Lotte herself on the way she cut out, constructed and filmed a silhouette character. She also discusses how she developed the use of coloured gelatines for her backgrounds. To illustrate her output, the documentary includes extracts from several of her films including Papageno (1935), The Adventures of Prince Achmed (1926) and The Frog Prince.

Niagara

Particularly in the rural areas of eastern Germany, actors and activists who are committed to opposing right-wing extremism repeatedly have to deal with headwinds in social networks and on the streets. This ranges from insults and hostility to physical attacks and death threats "It's easier to shout Nazis where there are no Nazis", as the Chemnitz band Kraftklub once sang. But how easy is it to shout "Nazis out" where they actually appear?
